About Me

I’m Layla, the owner and speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Embrace Speech & Language Therapy. I am a state-licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologist practicing in SF proper and serving California state-wide via telehealth. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota and went on to complete my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Texas at Austin.

 

I offer speech/language evaluations, 1:1 or group treatment sessions, and parent and teacher consultations. In addition to my practice, I work at Stanford Children’s Hospital in the outpatient pediatric clinic.

I am deeply passionate about communication as a human right. Beyond expressing our basic wants and needs, communication enables us to create relationships and deepen our connections with the people around us.
